Who are we?
The Norfolk Farmers Market is a nonprofit project sponsored by the Town of Norfolk. Its goals are to establish a permanent regional farmers market with a wide variety of locally produced offerings that will draw consumers from a broad area, to thereby increase profits for producers who are already established and to create an outlet for small producers who otherwise might not be able to reach consumers directly. Along the way, we hope to encourage producers to diversify and test the profitability of specialty items, and to generally encourage local agriculture and handicrafts.
A steering committee sets policies and manages publicity, advised by the manager, who recruits vendors and handles day-to-day operations. We thank the many people and businesses who have contributed! See below.
