You’re invited to join the fun at our lively, friendly market featuring an eclectic mix of farmers, producers, artists and artisans from Norfolk and the surrounding region.
Find fresh vegetables and fruit, herbs, mushrooms, cut flowers and plants; local meats, cheeses, yogurt and eggs; breads and baked goods; wine; honey and maple syrup, jams, jellies and pickles, handmade wares of every description and an array of wonderful foods to take home or eat on the spot. Live music every Saturday and special events, including chef demos, add to the ambiance. Just follow the signs to 19 Maple Avenue, Norfolk, Connecticut, one block north of Route 44. We’re on the lawn in front of Town Hall every Saturday of the season, May 17 through October 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, with plenty of parking right next door. Twice-a-month Saturday indoor winter markets will be held upstairs in Town Hall on January 10 and 24, February 14 and 28, March 14 and 28, and April 11 and 25. The 2015 summer season runs every Saturday from May 16 through October 10.
Extra fun: We’ll also hold our annual indoor holiday market on Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (an extra hour), complete with Barnadette’s Bookshelf, an area where local authors and illustrators can display and sell their works.
